3686: LaunchTN Pitch
Competition 2021

The 2021 3686 Pitch Competition is a platform for the nation’s best and brightest startups to present their companies in front of an audience of investors, potential strategic partners, and ecosystem builders.
Selected companies will have the opportunity to win funding; connect with 3686 attendees, potential investors, customers and mentors; and gain exposure for their product, innovation or service.
Timeline

This timeline includes major deadlines for the successful execution of the 3686 Pitch Competition. Additional deadlines for marketing materials and other information to be submitted may be introduced in the build-up to the Festival.

  • August 1, 2021: Applications open for Network Partners to submit their 3686 Startup
  • Aug. 27, 2021: Application deadline
  • Sept. 15, 2021: Finalists announced
  • Sept, 23, 2021: 3686 Pitch Competition live in-person in Nashville, TN
Pitch Format / Judging Criteria

Each 3686 Startup will have three minutes to pitch to a panel of judges, with the option to use a maximum of five slides as a visual aid. After the pitch, there will be five minutes of Q&A from the judges.

Prizes
  • Up to $100,000 Equity Investment from Launch Tennessee’s Impact Fund
  • $10,000 Crowd Favorite Prize
Startup Eligibility Criteria
  • Open to Pre-Seed, Seed, or Series A stage companies. Companies need to have at least built a working MVP.
  • In order to be eligible for selection, the 3686 Startup MUST have had at least $25,000 in funding events (defined as any non-founder source of capital) or $50,000 in revenue.
  • [If LTN funds the prize] Company must be willing to relocate to TN. LaunchTN’s investment committee will consider additional capital to support relocation up to $50,000.
